Le nouvel album de l'ancien chanteur de Skid Row, Sébastian Bach, sortira le 18 avril. Il est produit par Bob Marlette (ROB ZOMBIE, BLACK SABBATH et  SHINEDOWN).  Seb a enregistré "Give Em Hell" avec quelques amis - Duff McKagan (VELVET REVOLVER, GUNS N' ROSES), John 5 (MARILYN MANSON, ROB ZOMBIE) et Steve Stevens (BILLY IDOL). Contacté hier par téléphone, Sébastian Bach nous a confirmé deux dates européennes pour sa tournée 2014 : le samedi 28 juin prochain à Vauréal (France) et le dimanche 29 juin au Gaspop Metal Meeting, à Dessel.

EUROPE : Retour aux sources au Väsby Rock Festival (avec candelmass, Pretty Maids, Jorn, TNT, The Answer, Gotthard, Primal Fear,....)

Les plus grands noms du heavy metal ont enregistré un album hommage à Ronnie James Dio, dans le but de réunir des fonds pour son association " Ronnie James Dio Stand Up And Shout Cancer Fund " destinée à lutter contre le cancer. C’est sa femme, et manager, Wendy Dio qui a produit l’album. Son mari était décédé d’un cancer de l’estomac en 2010.

Cet album sera distribué par Rhino. Sortie prévue en Europe - le 28 Mars.

Les chansons de ce Tribute reprennent les différentes périodes de la carrière de Dio. L’album comprend également le titre "This is your life" interprété par Ronnie James Dio lui-même, initialement sorti sur "Angry Machines" (1996).

Nous avons réalisé une interview avec Michael Sweet (Stryper) hier soir, dans le cadre de la promotion de l'excellent No More Hell To Pay. Le chanteur/guitariste annonce pour 2014 la sortie d'un CD/DVD live de Stryper ainsi qu'une tournée en Europe ; la finalisation d'un album solo avec une pléiade d’invités (Doug Aldrich, Dave Mustaine, Chris Jericho,...) ainsi qu'une autobiographie. Enfin, Frontiers sortira en mars le Michael Sweet - George Lynch Project. Outre Michael et l'ancien guitariste de Dokken, le line-up comprend Brian Tiychy (Whitesnake) et James Lomenzo (Megadeth). Lassé des problèmes d'égo de ses anciens acolytes Kim Hooker et Ace Finchum, le guitariste d'origine Jay Pepper a rappelé le batteur Matt Blakout et a fait appel au chanteur Jules Millis ainsi qu'au bassiste Rob Wylde pour donner un second souffle à la formation de Cardiff.

Dans le genre un maximum d'efficacité en un minimum de temps  TIGERTAILZ remporte la le challenge avec cet EP de 5 titres baptisé Knives, sorti chez Scarlet Records. 

 Ce sont les premiers enregistrements studios du groupe  de Glam Rock en six ans. Des riffs d'acier, des solos en forme d'uppercut en pleine tronche et des choeurs mémorisables, TIGERTAILZ revient en force pour son 30ème birthday.

 Le groupe de Seattle Walking Papers, récemment vu en première partie de Whitesnake sur la tournée européenne, sort un premier album éponyme. Duff McKagan (Guns N' Roses, Velvet Revolver) et  Barrett Martin (Screaming Trees, Mad Season) se sont associés pour ce projet avec Jeff Angell et Benjamin Anderson (tous les deux membres de  Missionary Position). A noter également la participation de Mike McCready, le guitariste de Pearl Jam sur deux titres. Walking Papers construit un pont solide entre coups de machette et psychédélisme.
