Les plus grands noms du heavy metal ont enregistré un album hommage à Ronnie James Dio, dans le but de réunir des fonds pour son association " Ronnie James Dio Stand Up And Shout Cancer Fund " destinée à lutter contre le cancer. C’est sa femme, et manager, Wendy Dio qui a produit l’album. Son mari était décédé d’un cancer de l’estomac en 2010.

Cet album sera distribué par Rhino. Sortie prévue en Europe - le 28 Mars.

Les chansons de ce Tribute reprennent les différentes périodes de la carrière de Dio. L’album comprend également le titre "This is your life" interprété par Ronnie James Dio lui-même, initialement sorti sur "Angry Machines" (1996).
